I’m currently Assistant Professor of Constitutional Law and Legal Theory at the Faculty of Law of the Open University in the Netherlands. Prior to joining the Open University I was a lecturer and researcher at Leiden Law School’s Department of Jurisprudence. In 2016, I had the privilege to spend a few months in the beautiful city of Oxford as a visiting researcher to the university. My research focuses primarily on contemporary issues concerning freedom of expression and limits to that freedom, such as blasphemy and defamation law.
